Casting a bronze sword

Saturday | 29. SEP 2018 | 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Sunday | 30. SEP 2018 | 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

The fascination of bronze casting is unbroken: glowing metal flows into its form and solidifies, and blaze turns into a blade. In this workshop, participants learn how to prepare a mold, how to handle the molten bronze correctly, and how to complete the work in fine detail. The result is a sword a Celtic prince would have been proud of.

The workshop takes place outside, therefore, dirt-resistant and weatherproof clothing is recommended, sturdy shoes is required! You are welcome to bring your own food.

Participation on both days is compulsory because the second appointment is based on the first one. The number of participants is limited to ten people.
